Senior Cloud Engineer

With over six years of experience in cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes along with various managed distributions and Operator-SDK, I have honed my skills in this dynamic field both on-prem and in the cloud.

I graduated from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, studying Physics and Mathematics, but I never really stopped learning, later acquiring multiple certificates from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation and AWS.

My journey began by developing Python backends and Vue web applications, which laid a solid foundation for my later endeavors. Additionally, I possess expertise in developing cloud-native applications using Go.

I have previously worked in modernizing on-prem infrastructure for banks, alongside migrating existing infrastructure between and to cloud providers like AWS and Google Cloud Platform. These hands-on experiences in both developer and DevOps roles gave me a comprehensive understanding that now enables me to design more pragmatic and effective architectures. I further refined my development skills by designing and developing a firewall management solution with Zoltán Kiss for a large telecommunication company that is still relied on every day.

Currently, I am working as a solution architect introducing cutting-edge features in telecommunications, designing and delivering cloud-native services by coordinating closely with large mobile device vendors. Alongside Ábó, Nat, Z and Dénes, we have shipped greenfield projects and modernized existing solutions, with Z providing DevOps expertise to complement our architectural decisions.
